In your time at Vireo, what has been your favorite project and why?

The current Westport Stormwater Management project has to be near the top. It has been deeply rewarding to help mitigate the long-standing issue of devastating flooding in Westport, while improving the pedestrian realm and collaborating with neighborhood groups to unlock the potential of Dr. Jeremiah Cameron Park.

Why do you do what you do?

It’s important for me to be part of a profession that offers opportunity to provide positive change where we live, work, and play. My profession allows me to advocate for more thoughtful landscape design, prioritize the use of native plants, and foster curiosity for our natural world. And incorporate all of that into Vireo’s projects!

I’m more competitive than I like to admit.
