Los Angeles Green Infrastructure

Vireo created renderings to help global engineering firm Black & Veatch visualize neighborhood-scale green infrastructure improvements proposed for Los Angeles, California. The first scenario depicts a median bioswale, pervious pavement replacing curbs and gutters, updated street lighting, plantings along the roadway, site furnishings and public transit stops.

A second rendering explored more pedestrian and transportation options, including: bike lanes, Safe Street features, pavement updates, curb extensions, public transit, safe crosswalks and site furnishings.
