Landscape Architect
What is your favorite part of what you do?
Variety and challenge are my favorite aspects of landscape architecture — each day is something new that stretches my problem-solving skills and allows me to continuously deepen my knowledge of every aspect of the profession: collaboration, analysis, math, design, ecology.
Outside of your work day, how do you like to spend your time?
I love to dabble with a wide variety of hobbies: modern quilt-making, watercolors, gardening, and cooking big meals for my kids. On the weekends you may find me out thrifting, dancing at The Ship or yoga on the lawn of the Nelson-Atkins. I truly believe variety is the spice of life.
