Integration of environmental considerations into the decision-making process is at the core of Vireo’s philosophy.  Our process very much echoes the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) - integrating natural and cultural resource protection into all aspects of a project. Our primary goals are ensuring that our natural resources are protected for their value to future generations, and our clients are well prepared to meet the regulatory requirements.

Vireo’s planners and ecologists have deep experience in multiple aspects of the NEPA including: wetland delineations and permitting, environmental assessments, threatened and endangered species surveys, and wetland mitigation and ecosystem restoration plans.
