In early 2025, Vireo started working with the City of Shawnee on a bold vision for a bike-centric park that serves the residents of Shawnee and attracts cyclists of all ages and abilities to a regional attraction.
The city needed a little help to introduce the idea - and the opportunities - to the public. This video was just one of the tools we created in-house to educate, engage, and excite people about what was possible at Rail Creek Park.
Bike playgrounds, pump tracks, cyclocross, mountain biking, traffic gardens, jump lines, and obstacle courses are all on the table along, with more traditional park elements. Take a look at how we helped Shawnee open the door to something new.
