Scott Schulte, ENV SP

Environmental Planner

In your time at Vireo, what has been your favorite project and why?

Our projects with the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation over the past 10+ years have been the most rewarding. We have been fortunate to develop long-term relationships with the people and the land, to learn about their history and culture, and help them articulate their vision and plan for the future

Why do you do what you do?

We are facing such extraordinary environmental, human, and economic stresses, but the cool thing is that we have so many ways to address them that will benefit people, our built environment, and natural systems simultaneously. I want to help the next generation be the first sustainable generation in human history.

“Everything we do should positively impact people, our prosperity, and the planet.”
